Use
Used to grow clams on the bottom without need for predation netting. Yet eliminating most predation losses. Also used in the above-ground oyster growout system to raise individual oysters for the "half-shell" market.
How it is used / deployed
Can allow to settle in to bottom with intertidal subtidal zones, and are ideal for depuration and relaying.
Features / benefits
Rigid yet flexible, these cages will increase the harvest, reduce environmental losses, such as storms and predators, lower production costs. They need no internal support, reduce handling, and easily stack, and require little assembly.
